Since beign stablished in 2003, La Huerta XPAÑA S.L. has developed into a reliable producer in fresh vegetables, fruits and potatoes.  

The idea behind the creation of La Huerta in Spain was raised in The Netherlands. People where looking for a growing area with an excellent environment for producing vegetables in the months of November till May, to manage a greater control on the spot and to improve a better fulfilment of their needs.

The search finally ended in the south of Spain in Motril, located in the province of Granada. In this microclimate to the “Costa Tropical” are the ideal conditions for growing vegetables found. 

La Huerta grows and packs his own vegetables according to customer's needs. The department, food safety and quality control, constantly controls the product: on the field, in the warehouse, in the chill room, before loading for transport and even during the transport to the customer. 

La Huerta has a broad product range at the moment. The main products are endive and baby spinach but besides that they can be your partner in lollo rossa, lollo biondo, coarse frisee, celery, different varieties of cabbages and potatoes.

Meanwhile La Huerta delivers a large group of costumers. Costumers like retail, processing companies, importers and wholesalers who give food safety, flexibility and continuity high priority, they chose La Huerta Xpana S.L.
